This copy carries a Second Printing, 1977 statement, with the publication page also noting First Published 1972. Across 470 pages, it covers toolmaking, pressworking and die design, forging dies, plastics moulds, die casting, jigs and fixtures, metrology, tolerances, tool steels, heat treatment, testing, maintenance and repair. Extensive sectional drawings, machine and tool layouts, press-tool diagrams, machinery illustrations and industrial photographs document period manufacturing practice. The volume also reproduces the original Russian title page and includes a Joint Indo-Soviet Board republication note. Measures approximately 8.1 × 5.3 × 1.2 inches. Condition: Beige textured cloth hardcover with general discoloration and spotting, rubbing and edge/corner wear, surface abrasion to the black front title panel, and localized cloth fraying at one lower corner. The small ME-018 paper label remains on the front board. Pages show age toning and scattered minor spotting; binding is intact and technical content remains highly legible.
