First printing of this special anniversary edition, hardcover copy of Harry Potter & The Sorcerer’s Stone by J. K. Rowling (Scholastic, 2008). Increasingly scarce and collectible first printing of this beautiful edition of the beloved young adult / children’s fantasy novel - the first in the series. Jacket now protected in new (removable) archival sleeve but with mild rubbing to faces and shelf wear around the edges - inclining chipping and creases, especially to corners. Liquid damage to top edge of book causing staining to interior side of jacket and to red boards near top of spine. Corners bumped. Binding is firm and spine remains straight. Some faint soiling to outer edges of text block, otherwise all pages are clean and unmarked. See photos for condition. Packaged with care and shipped via USPS Media Mail
