Rare map of northern Pakistan showing most of the city of Peshawar and the country north of its boundary. Issued the year after certain tribes from Afghanistan tried to push across the Durand Line in a response to the weakening of the borders caused by pulling troops to the Western Front during WWI. We can find no institutional record of this edition of this map (not in BL). 1918 edition with additions and corrections; heliozincographed colour map, folding into original buff paper ends with printed cover, full dimensions: 57 x 42 cm, scale 1:63,360, near fine.
