"The Book of Golf: 1951 Ryder Cup Matches," the official program published by the Professional Golfers' Association of America for the 9th Ryder Cup Matches at Pinehurst, North Carolina, November 2 and 4, 1951. About the book This is the hardbound commemorative program, in red cloth with the gilt PGA seal on the front cover and "1951 Ryder Cup Matches" stamped at the lower right. The title page has a full-color illustration of the Ryder Cup trophy in front of the Pinehurst clubhouse. It was the first Ryder Cup held at Pinehurst, and the American team, captained by Sam Snead, won. A nice piece of Ryder Cup history for a collector of golf books or memorabilia. Condition (please look closely at the photos) - Red cloth cover is intact and solid, with some fading and light wear. - The title page and the pages I looked at are clean. - A small paper slip is tucked in near the front. - I do not see any signatures or inscriptions, but I have not gone through every page, so please rely on the photos. - I have not counted the pages.
