This auction is for a SIGNED Limited First Edition volume of "Ship Island and Other Stories" by Elizabeth Spencer. Published in 1968. Signed by the author on the limitation notice, which is attached to the front free endpaper, explaining that only 150 copies were distributed by First Editions Limited. This is #38 of those 150 copies (hand-signed and hand-numbered). Quite remarkable condition. I've seen a few other signed copies of this book, but never encountered one of the 150 First Editions Limited volumes. Hardcover with dust jacket (protected by plastic).
