BOOK OF RECORDED MARKS AND BRANDS EMBRACING ALL THE MARKS AND BRANDS RECORDED FROM DECEMBER 31 1884 TO DECEMBER 31, 1888. An early Utah territorial brand book, illustrating the brands of cattle growers in the Utah Territory recorded between December 31, 1884, and December 31, 1888, this copy having been repurposed at a slightly later date as a scrapbook and containing numerous recipe clippings and clippings of lace-making patterns and designs adhered to roughly one-quarter of the pages. The clippings here include many lace patterns and designs as well as various recipes for cakes, pies, ice creams, cookies, soups, and advice for canning and pickling. Many appear to have been taken from various issues of Comfort, a mail order magazine published be
