The primary blue cloth binding remains notably tight, square, and bright, displaying unoxidised gilt tooling to the spine and virtually no shelf-wear, having been well-protected by the jacket. Internally, the pages are crisp and largely clean, exhibiting mild, scattered foxing that is primarily confined to the preliminary leaves and the text block edges. The original dust jacket is unclipped, retaining the '7/6 NET' price on the spine, but shows moderate age-toning, most notably a darkening to the spine panel, alongside minor edge-wear, chipping, and light rubbing to the spine ends and corners.
