A fantastic opportunity to own two consecutive Silver Age Marvel comics featuring Iron Man and Captain America, including two notable character debuts. Both issues feature wonderful period artwork, excellent classic Marvel storytelling and colourful covers that look great displayed together. ISSUE #68 - AUGUST 1965 * First appearance of Morgan Stark, Tony Stark’s cousin. * Count Nefaria and Red Skull appearances. * Classic Jack Kirby cover artwork. * Iron Man story: “If a Man Be Mad!” * Captain America story: “The Sentinel and the Spy!” ISSUE #69 - SEPTEMBER 1965 * KEY ISSUE: First appearance and origin of Titanium Man (Boris Bullski). * First Titanium Man cover appearance. * Original UK 10d printed-price variant. * Classic Jack Kirby cover artwork. * Iron Man story: “If I Must Die, Let It Be with Honor!” * Captain America story: “Midnight in Greymoor Castle!” CONDITION Two attractive, original Silver Age comics with strong cover presentation and plenty of vintage character. Issue #68 retains particularly vibrant red cover colours and presents nicely, with age-related spine and edge wear, some chipping along the top edge and light creasing. Issue #69 features a striking Titanium Man cover with strong colours and good overall presentation. Some spine stress, corner wear and light surface wear are present.
