You are bidding on an issue of Cracked Collectors Edition #110, which was published in 1997 and contains a set of 12 Mars Attacks spoof cards. Have you ever seen these? This is the only set I have ever seen, and believe me I collect all things Mars Attacks (note I have some other cards up for auction right now). Scarce and collectible - a must for the serious Mars Attacks collector. Mars Attacks Spoof Cards: The issue's most famous feature is a full-color, perforated card-stock centerfold insert containing 12 "Fake-Out Mars Attacks" trading cards. These cards spoofed both the classic 1962 Topps trading card set and the 1996 movie adaptation. Chaotic Numbering: Staying true to the magazine's satire, the cards were printed slightly off-center to mimic retro printing errors, and their card numbers were completely chaotic (e.g., No. Ø, No. ∞, No. 4⁄9, No. 68 ½, and No. π). Some of the spoof titles included "Cows on Fire!", "Dunkin' Martians", and "Martians Zap Congress". Artwork & Content: The cover was illustrated by Frank Cummings, with card artwork by Rurik Tyler. The issue consisted of 9 pages of brand-new material, while the remainder compiled classic reprint content from older issues.
