Olivia Parker is an American still-life photographer whose work blends art history, science, and nature into poetic, meticulously composed images. A Wellesley College art history graduate, she began as a painter before turning to photography in the early 1970s. Largely self-taught, Parker has exhibited in over 100 solo shows worldwide, and her works are in major museum collections including MoMA and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Her monographs include Signs of Life, Under the Looking Glass, Weighing the Planets, and Order of Imagination. Inducted into the International Photography Hall of Fame in 2019, she has also explored deeply personal themes in series like Vanishing in Plain Sight, about her husband’s Alzheimer’s journey.
