Hi! You're looking at an outstanding condition book which is VERY RARE, hard to find and OUT OF PRINT and a classic travel memoir chronicling an amazing journey across the African Sahara Desert from Libya to Chad written by NIGEL HESELTINE--the book is a HARDCOVER with the ORIGINAL DUSTJACKET and is NOT a remainder copy and NOT price-clipped, with the original 27s 6d net. British price on the lower corner of the front inner flap. This book is in outstanding condition and the book itself has very light dings on the spine tips and slight dings on the opening tips and NO other significant imperfections; the dustjacket is fully intact with a large torn out portion on the upper center of the back cover (all that is missing is a portion of the uniform graphics with no text), a 1 1/2 inch tear on the upper left corner of the front cover, a small tear on the center left opening edge of the back cover, a very small torn out spot on the upper spine and small tears on the lower spine tip, a few small tears and creases on the upper and lower edges of the covers, a small discolored spot on the lower center of the front cover, a slight discolored spot on the lower spine edge and right corner of the back cover which is ONLY visible on the back surface and just light shelfwear otherwise but no other significant flaws!
