His estate authorized one final James Bond book by Fleming, the story collection Octopussy and The Living Daylights (1966).The second issue has plain rather than green-and-white patterned endpapers, the stock of which had been temporarily depleted. Cape did not publish the work with plain endpapers again until 1979.
