Pendlebury Hakim Sanai’s The Walled Garden of Truth (Ḥadīqat al-Ḥaqīqa) is one of the earliest major masterpieces of Persian Sufi poetry. Through stories, parables, philosophical reflections, and mystical verses, Sanai describes the human journey from worldly attachment and superficial knowledge toward direct knowledge of God (maʿrifa).
