A Confederacy of Dunces. First edition of the author's masterpiece, posthumously published thanks to the efforts of his mother and the author Walter Percy. It was an immediate cult classic, won the Pulitzer Prize in 1981, and is now celebrated as a canonical work of modern American literature. This is a sharp copy in the first state dust jacket, with the title in pale blue and stars visible above the wall. Later states lack the stars and have the title in a darker blue.
