CONVENTION BETWEEN THE UNITED STATES AND BRAZIL...ACT OF CONGRESS...RULES AND REGULATIONS. This claims convention between the U.S. and Brazil was the second treaty between the powers, and calls for a mutual settlement of American claims on Brazil. The text of the treaty is printed in double columns, in parallel English and Portuguese. Also included with the treaty is the act of the U.S. Congress of 1850 implementing the convention, and the rules and regulations of the claims commission. The separately printed Senate resolution extends the duration of the act carrying out the convention into the late summer of 1852. No copies of this issue of the convention with the accompanying Congressional act and commission rules is located on OCLC. Scarce.
