He won nine majors, including the U.S. Open in 1921, where his winning margin of 9 strokes was not eclipsed until Tiger Woods won by 15 strokes in 2000. First edition, sixth impression; folio (28.5 x 22.5 cm); numerous photographic illustrations, occasional light spotting; publisher's green cloth, upper cover and spine lettered in gilt, photographic illustration pasted to upper cover, slightly rubbed and frayed at extremities.
