Krew Elfow (Blood of Elves). First edition of the "White Series", published in 2006. A remarkable association copy acquired from relatives of Andrzej Sapkowski, signed, inscribed and dated by the author on the front free endpaper: "Dla Patrycji od Wujaszka Sapkowski, Lodz, 17.08.2006", translated as "To Patrycja from Uncle Sapkowski, Lodz, 17.08.2006." Krew Elfow is the first novel in The Witcher Saga, following the two earlier short-story collections, Ostatnie Zyczenie (The Last Wish) and Miecz Przeznaczenia (Sword of Destiny), and marks the beginning of the main continuous narrative of the Witcher saga. The book is in very good condition, with only slight soiling to the covers, some tanning to the page edges, and very slight creasing to the top edges. A very rare and highly personal association copy - the only example with a direct association to Andrzej Sapkowski's family that I have ever handled. A truly unique copy.
