Santa Monica: RKO Radio Pictures, 1949. Vintage pressbook for the 1949 film. A veteran begins working at a New York department store in the weeks before Christmas, and begins a relationship with a comparative shopper for a rival store. An unusually benign role for actor Robert Mitchum, who purportedly took the part in order to rehabilitate his image after a highly publicized marijuana bust. Eight pages, saddle stitched, 12 x 18 inches.
