Illustrations to Edgar Allen Poe. Limited edition, number 60 of 107 copies printed specially for members of the Aubrey Beardsley Club. In late December 1893, Stone & Kimball commissioned Beardsley to provide illustrations for Poe's "Tales" section. The four designs, "The Murders in the Rue Morgue", "The Black Cat", "The Masque of the Red Death", and "The Fall of the House of Usher" were ultimately not published in the set and were first published in Four Illustrations for the Tales of Edgar Allen Poe (1901). The current book claims to include unpublished illustrations, but these 13 pieces are considered forgeries created by H. S. Nichols.
