Canadian-born Prevost began her film career as a Mack Sennett Bathing Beauty in 1917, but found her breakthrough role in Yankee Doodle in Berlin 1918 . The actress was best known for her light comedies with Universal and Warner Brothers, most notably with director Ernst Lubitch, including The Marriage Circle 1924 , Three Women 1924 and Kiss Me Again
