Hardcover copy of the book by Charles de Lint published by Roger Turner (an SF/F bookseller from Ottawa who worked on the World Fantasy Awards and designed many author's websites and from whose collection this book comes). The book was published to celebrate the tenth anniversary of Rodger’s store The House of Speculative Fiction. Limited edition, signed by de Lint. 350 copies were printed, 326 of them for circulation. Of those, 300 were trade paperbacks and 26 were cloth bound hardcovers. This copy is one of the “PC” or presentation copies, part of the remaining 24 copies for private distribution only. Hardcover; 8vo; 55 pp. This copy is unique: it includes a small piece of paper (a torn section of an old House of Speculative Fiction bookmark) signed from Rodger Turner to his mother wishing her a happy birthday. Blue cloth with gilt lettering on upper and lower boards. No lettering on spine, and no dust jacket as issued. Spine gently faded, and some light shelfwear/dust to boards. Clean blue endpapers. Interior bright and clean. Light odour of tobacco. Some faint fading to head of lower board, else in top shape. VG+ See photos for detail. Pub: Ottawa : Fourth Avenue Press, 1989. Item No.: E000301
