Captain Easy, Soldier of Fortune: The Complete Sunday Newspaper Strips 4 Vol Set

€160 · Offered by eBay

For sale is a full run of Volume 1-4, covering the golden age years of Captain Easy, Soldier of Fortune. ( 1933-1943 ). All are first printings by Fantagraphics ( as stated on title page ) and all are out of print. Volume 4 is especially hard to come across. Condition: Inside, the books are near mint. Bright colour strips, without fading. There is no damage or writing inside. The previous owner, who was an avid comic book collector, has covered the book boards in black card, very neatly, still leaving the square title art, as well as the back cover art. I do believe this really makes the covers pop and look great on the shelves. I have taken this into account when pricing them. There are some minor storage wear to the black card, and wear to the cloth spine where some writing has faded, so please check the photos as they form part of the description. I will post with Royal Mail and I ship overseas using eBay's Global Shipping Programme. Please note, I do not set the postage costs, and ebay adds a buyer protection fee on top of my price, which unfortunately is non negotiable.
