The text in this edition follows the English language translation made by Piere (Peter) Motteux, originally published in 1700-1703. 4 vols; large 8vo (26 x 17 cm); illustrated with 37 plates etched by Lalauze in two states, slight spotting throughout; half green morocco by Mudie, marbled boards ruled in gilt, gilt spine in 6 compartments, top-edge gilt, others uncut, minor wear to extremities, very good.
