First edition · Signed

London: George Harrap, 1936 . Signed limited first edition thus, illustrated by Rackham, of Ibsen's fantasy play of goblins and fairies based upon a traditional Norwegian fairy tale. Very good. Item #15747 Rackham had a particular talent for creating fantastical creatures like fairies and goblins, making PEER GYNT an excellent choice for his interpretations. This is one of the more scarce Rackham limited editions.
