Life, Letters, and Literary Remains. First edition, in the original cloth, edited by Richard Monckton Milnes (1809-1885) with much material provided by Keats's close friend Charles Armitage Brown. This first biography of Keats includes letters, biography, and a selection of his poetry, including the first printing of "Otho the Great," "La Belle Dame Sans Merci," and multiple sonnets.This copy is part of the first issue, with volume I, page 113 uncancelled and reading "Leland's" for "Claude's". Ashley notes that the first impression contains an errata slip before page 1, but it is lacking in this copy.
