This. Broadside No. 1. The first broadside produced by the Black Mountain College Graphics Workshop, and only the second of Olson's published broadsides.The illustrator was one of Olson's students at the college, Nicola Cernovich, who studied design and colour theory under Josef Albers and performed in the first "Happening", John Cage and Merce Cunningham's "Theatre Piece" (1952). He went on to become a significant stage and lighting designer and was one of the founder members of The Living Theatre.
