Every monster your party's ever going to run into, with the snark turned all the way up. This is the Hacklopedia of Beasts for HackMaster — basically their version of a monster manual, but written with HackMaster's signature comedic, over-the-top flavor text instead of dry stat blocks. Every entry's got the usual combat info, habitat, and ecology sections you'd expect, but they're written as "expert commentary" from in-world scholars and adventurers, which makes flipping through it actually fun instead of just reference material. It's built for Tellene (the Kingdoms of Kalamar setting) but works fine as a general monster book for any d20-based fantasy game since the stat format lines up close enough to be usable. HackMaster built a real cult following for leaning into old-school D&D nostalgia while poking fun at it at the same time, and this Hacklopedia is one of the more popular pieces of that line. Good pickup for GMs who want a monster book that's actually entertaining to read at the table, not just to use.
