Be Cool Elmore Leonard · Signed 1st Edition, 1st Printing · Delacorte Press, New York, 1999 Elmore Leonard brought back Chili Palmer, the Miami loan shark turned Hollywood producer from Get Shorty, for this sequel. Looking for his next picture, Chili turns from the movie business to the music business, where a murdered record executive, a young singer worth managing, and a crowd of gangsters, posers and wannabes give him plenty of material. Be Cool was adapted as a 2005 film starring John Travolta, reprising his role from Get Shorty. This is the first edition, first printing, with the full number line, signed by Elmore Leonard on the front free endpaper.
