Imaginary Letters. First edition, deluxe signed limited issue, number 27 of 50 copies printed on Japanese vellum and signed by the author. There were also 350 ordinary copies issued unsigned on Navarre and 25 hors commerce. Imaginary Letters first appeared in the American magazine Little Review between 1917 and 1918. It was published by the Black Sun Press in the year following Harry Crosby's notorious suicide, when Caresse took over directorship. She continued issuing books with the press in Paris and New York until it closed with her death in 1970.
