The Musical section was written by the composer Constant Lambert. Inscribed by the author to a Mr. Alan Harris on the dedication: 'AND THIS COPY IS THE PROPERTY OF MR. ALAN HARRIS, GENT. A LEARNED COLLEAGUE OF THE AUTHOR Anthony Powell Feb. 8th 1935 25mo Geo.V.' First edition, sole printing, one of 100 copies, inscribed by the author; small 4to; Powell's corrections in black ink throughout, full-page illustration by Edward Burra, light toning to leaves; original quarter red cloth over tartan paper boards, printed title label to upper cover, light rubbing to extremities, upper joint repaired, else very good.
