A Writing For The Tombs, an original Allen Koszowski black & white illustration from 1982, plus Whispered Legends, published by Joey Froehlich, 1st Edition 1983. This is an ultra rare one of a kind auction. First, the original illustration was used as the accompanying illustration to the Joey Froehlich story "A Writing For The Tombs" and first published in "Whispered Legends" (on the inside rear cover) in 1983. The art (completed in late 1982) was accomplished with Rapidograph pen & ink on illustration board. The illustration measures about 6-1/4" x 8-3/4" with slim borders all around. In very good shape with slight surface wear and light age darkening. THE ARTIST WILL SIGN THE ILLUSTRATION ON THE REAR Also included is Whispered Legends (featuring the same artwork), published by Joey Froehlich, 1st Edition, 1983. This hard to find small press publication includes an interview with Charles Saunders, plus fiction, poetry, features and art by Joey Froehlich, Janet Fox, Jessica Amanda Salmonson, Gordon Linzner, Billy Wolfenbarger, Rick Harrison, Bruce Conklin, Dan Day, John Borkowski, Allen Koszowski (inside rear cover art plus an additional full page illustration) and others (as seen on the picture of the table of contents). Full sized and side stapled with about 100 pages.
