There is a section on Hiroshima which discusses the casualties and aftermath of the atomic bomb, as well as first attempts to memorialize the event. Small 8vo (16 x 12 cm), xxxvi, 1015pp., 62 coloured maps including one printed on the endpaper, ink ownership inscription on title-page and endpaper; publisher's red cloth gilt, stained on upper cover; otherwise a very good copy.
