Scarce children's book illustrated by Nina Simonovich-Efimova - renowned Soviet artist and puppeteer. We couldn't locate any copies of the first edition and three including the Russian State Library of this second edition. Second edition, 8vo (22.5 x 19 cm); illustrations throughout after Simonovich- Efimova, age-toning mark on pp.2-3; original printed wrappers, publisher's stamp to bottom cover dated November 1928, a very good copy.
