The daughter of Colonel Edward Napier, Louise married H.S. Lawrence of the Indian Civil Service in 1899, therafter spending a good deal of her time in India in Sind. Her posthumously published memoir mostly discusses that time with sections on Sinhgarh, Dwarkabai, Mahabaleshwar, and Rahri in the Sind desert. Unsurprisingly scare with copies located at BL, Queen Mary, UT Austin, and Minnesota only.
