The Bhagavad-gítá; or a Discourse between Krishna and Arjuna on Divine Matters. First edition of this early translation into English, published while the translator (1834-1860) was still an undergraduate studying Sanskrit at Oxford. The first English translation of Bhagavad-gítá was completed in 1785 by Charles Wilkins.
