Jacket shows light rubbing, edge wear and creasing near the spine head. Retains the red Japanese obi band, which has surface rubbing and light edge wear. Bound in black textured cloth with silver lettering and blue endpapers. Includes a calligraphic frontispiece illustrating the concept of sunao, or an open and receptive mind. Printed in Japan by Toppan Printing Co., Ltd. This English translation follows the Japanese work Ningen o Kangaeru, published in 1975. Matsushita, founder of the business that became Panasonic, considers human nature, responsibility and the individual’s place in society. His reflections extend beyond management to the pursuit of peace, happiness and prosperity, expressing the philosophy behind his PHP Institute.
