Lot of 7 Ladies' Home Journal magazines from 1946 and 1948. Issues include Jan, Feb, and March 1946 and July, Sept, and Oct 1947, Sept 1948 They are large format magazines that measure 13.75 x 10.75" Contents include fashions of the time, fiction, articles about current events and child raising, and full and half page black and white or color ads. The covers of the magazines have stains, some tears at the edges and along the bindings, edge wear and some corner creases. Address labels are attached to the front covers. The front cover of Jan 46 issue has a 2" tear into the right edge of the front cover and the first 20 pages have 1/2" tears into the edge. There are stains at the bottoms of pages 9-16. Feb 1946 has a stain at the bottom of page 113. Pages 181 to the back cover are folded close to the binding and there are stains at the binding corner on those pages. July 1947 has a stain at the edge of page 5. Many of the pages from 43 to the back of the magazine have stains in the upper corner and pages 183 to the back of the magazine are folded and wrinkle at the corner. There is also a big cutout on page 29. The first 30 pages of the Sept 1947 issue are crease or curled at the top corner. Sept 1948 - Pages are yellowed and binding is torn off. Corner is torn off page 239 Otherwise the inside pages of the magazines are in mostly good condition with an occasional corner crease. Please see photos. Will ship by USPS Thanks for looking!
