Up for sale is a complete 58-book hardcover vintage matte set of the Hardy Boys Mystery Series by Franklin W. Dixon, published by Grosset & Dunlap, copyright from 1959 through 1979. This set of books contains the vintage book style which has the blue spine with a picture printed directly on the spine and boards of each book. The books are numbered #1 through #58. The books have different degrees of wear on the covers and /or edges but most books are in Very Good or Good Condition with no writing inside (only 2 books have a name written inside and 1 book has an inscription inside – see photos). There is some bumping to the book corners and a few books have a small tear or scuffing on the spine edges or discoloration on an inside page (see photos). All bindings are tight. Only Book #58 is an ex-library book, and 2 books (#25 and #34) have the last page torn out – one of which is still inside the book. Please refer to the photos to confirm the condition of this set of books. This is a very nice complete set of Hardy Boys books for collectors or for gift-giving!!
