Vintage Cambridge Pitt Minion KJV bound in Siegel Sokoto full yapp.

This is a vintage Cambridge Pitt Minion King James bound in exquisite Siegel Sokoto goatskin. I stripped down the block, trimmed the old worn block edges and colored them in blue. The spine is lined with an Oxford hollow in the same style as the original Cambridge binding, adorned with white silk headbands and two navy Berisfords ribbons. The liner is Napa lambskin, there is a perimeter gilt line and perimeter stitching ensuring the longevity of the fold over. Gold stamping on the spine and cover. The cover is very flexible for how thick the goatskin and lambskin together are. Very luxurious. This is obviously a used Bible restoration. The pages are mostly clean, but there is highlighting and underlining on many of them. The title page was missing a corner which I fixed with Japanese tissue paper. Please see the included video. This is an excellent companion to a Cambridge Concord and utilizes the same unique center reference system. The binding matches my personal rebind of a ‘67 Concord. I am happy to supply additional pics and answer questions! Pics and video are part of the description—please observe carefully!
