5 volume set with clean text and no odor, straight spines and solid bindings, covers show light to moderate wear and do not have jackets, volumes 2 and 3 contains some hilighting and notations that may not be limited to photos, majority of books are unmarked that being said I could have missed some hilighting in another volume but after flipping through them front to back and back to front I was unable to find any . Volume 5 has some light staining to text block, overall a solid usable set with minimal writing
