First American edition, first printing hardcover copy of Scientific Qigong Exploration: The Wonders and Mysteries of Qi by Lu Zuyin (Amber Leaf, 1997). Incredibly rare book examining the scientific and natural properties of the spiritual / religious forces of Qi. With illustrations and diagrams throughout. Jacket is protected in new archival sleeve but with some rubbing/scuffing to faces and shelf wear around the edges - inclining some creases. Boards are straight and clean but with corners bumped. Binding is firm and spine is straight though binding material is faintly visible in a few gutters. All pages clean and unmarked. See photos for condition.
