X-Men 14 1st Appearance of the Sentinels Key Silver Age 1965 Marvel 5.5-6.0
$451 · Offered by eBay
An excellent opportunity to own an original Silver Age Marvel key issue! I'm offering The X-Men #14, published in November 1965, featuring the very first appearances of the Sentinels and their creator, Bolivar Trask. This is the original UK 10d price variant, with the classic Jack Kirby and Wally Wood cover artwork. Written by Stan Lee, this landmark issue introduces the giant mutant-hunting robots that would become some of the X-Men's most recognisable enemies. The comic presents very attractively for its age, with strong red cover colours, striking artwork and excellent overall display appeal. The front cover has some light spine and edge wear, minor handling creases and a handwritten name beneath the title. The back cover shows natural ageing and some surface wear, consistent with its vintage. The interior pages show good print clarity and period artwork. My provisional assessment is approximately FN- 5.5-6.0 This is a fantastic piece of early Marvel history and a desirable addition to any Silver Age X-Men collection. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they form part of the description. I am not a professional grader, and any grade provided is my personal assessment rather than a guaranteed CGC grade. All comics are carefully packaged to help ensure safe delivery. I'm always happy to combine postage on multiple purchases.
