This is an important piece of history with this 1840 version outlining the Methodist Episcopal opposition to slavery, causing a split in 1845 with the south. Book is in fair shape. Pages have spotting and show water damage/wavy pages. However, pages are intact and legible. Leather binding also shows wear and there is a split in the front hinge.
