This is a first US printing of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, published in 1999 by Scholastic. It had been preceded by a hardcover release in the UK. It has no number at the top of the spine, a number line running down to "1" with "First American edition, June 1999" on the copyright page. It has the misprint of "Sorceror's Stone" on the list of prior titles and Percy's name is misspelled "Perry" on page 157. There is no blind stamp. The jacket has no number at the top of the spine, has a $17.95 price to the top corner of the front end flap and has the 1795 price on the UPC code in the center of the rear jacket panel.
