By the early 1960s, Hong Kong had over 100,000 Catholics and dozens of churches, and the diocese invested 45 million dollars in building schools over the course of the 1950s. The photos demonstrate the architectural variety of its buildings, ranging from seafront tower blocks to brick houses in Meng Tak.
