Good - A book that has been read but is in good condition. Minimal wear on cover and binding. No creasing or tearing, no underlining, no highlighting, no writing. No missing pages. Actual book is pictured. Vidas escritas (Written Lives), first published in 1992, is a collection of literary biographical sketches by the acclaimed Spanish novelist, translator, and academic Javier Marías. Rather than delivering formal academic biographies, Marías approaches the lives of legendary authors through irony, affection, curiosity, and revealing anecdotes—focusing on their eccentricities, daily obsessions, and temperaments rather than an exhaustive analysis of their canonical works.
