Sholom Red Stodolsky 1916-1998 operated the Baroque Bookstore in Hollywood, CA from 1972 until his death in 1998. Red was a close friend of Bukowski's, and a great champion of his work, stocking his books in the Hollywood shop and hosting poetry readings and signings.
