Publisher Information: Volume 5 begins in Windsor, with its royal connections and famous castle. From there it is a short journey to London, where we are greeted with a veritable blizzard of railway art. Throughout the 20th century, hundreds of London posters were published, and many are seen together for the first time. The rest of the journey takes us through Southern Railway territory, to see the counties of Kent, Sussex, Surrey and Hampshire. Seaside and countryside images abound, such as the trio below, before we finish our artistic travels in Cowes and Ryde. Foreword is written by Sir William McAlpine. Condition Internal: The book does not appear to have been read and is like new, with no names or inscriptions. Condition External: excellent as pictured.
