With a key to topographical features, railways, main roads and important settlements, including the tribal and official names of provinces, and a useful Arabic-English glossary translating key terms such as 'Bir' for 'Well', 'Ain' for Spring', 'Qasr' for 'Fort/Castle'. The recto extends from Kumzat in the North to Hafit in the South, and Abu Dhabi in the West to al-Qasbiyat in the East, showing the six remaining emirates of Dibai [Dubai], Sharja, Ajman, Umm al-Qaiwan, Ras al-Khaima, and Fujaira.
