This is a full red Morocco goatskin Solander case for the British first edition of London to Ladysmith via Pretoria by Winston S. Churchill, published by Longmans, Green, and Co. in London in 1900. The case features a rounded, hubbed spine, the spine bands gilt rule framed and gilt decorated, the covers with gilt rule borders, the interior lined with red velvet.
